EUCOM and AFRICOM Surgeon Generals deliver a message about Ebola and Operation United Assistance:
The DoD has been asked to respond to the largest Ebola outbreak in history. That's why we are there to help. We are building facilities and providing training to help stop the virus from spreading even further. Bottom-line: the U.S. military is NOT providing direct patient care. We're providing the logistical support necessary to prevent the spread of this disease.
