Not that you can hear the control room during the opening and closing spirals and the familiar pause between "developed this system" and "to keep you informed" but this could "possibly" be the first station to do an EBS Test of 1993.

WPBN/WTOM Emergency Broadcast System Test + Station Identification (December 30, 1985) EAS CEC 2022-11-19 | Here's an EBS Test with a unique EBS card from WPBN/WTOM, which probably started to use the card a year before. What also makes its tests unique is that it aired it during Wheel. Recycling the 1981 "Our Pride Is Showing" animation comes the station's identification with the 1985 "Let's All Be There" theme in it.The Attention Signal was pretty loud there, which was not my fault though.That one lucky boy who appeared on the show was so lucky that not he appeared on Wheel but an EBS was activated on his appearance.

This aired during VH1's somewhat "ABC/NBC-Styled Sex Special", which is "not the VH1 people wanted".I forgot to mix it in mono so, I apologize!

The suspect was an unidentified white male, but the child that was abducted in Riverside the day before at 9:00 PM was identified as 10-year-old Nichole Taylor Timmons. The child was found safe at an unknown marker on Interstate 195 in Los Angeles (possibly the LAPD spotting the Blue/White Dodge Ram) but was taken for recovery outside Reno.

But this time, it was WFAA in Dallas who apparently did the same thing for only the countdown leader and one second. The staff at WFAA NEVER apologized! They just continued programming like normal, just because WFAA tried to be non-polite enough.The Special Report that was shown here is originally from an hour earlier, where President Biden announces the retirement of Stephen Breyer followed by Breyer addressing, which I've seen it at the period from WLS-TV's streaming website.
