Today I try Indian trains for the first time. I’ll be taking India’s 18 Hour Express Train From New Delhi to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This is a very interesting experience as I will be trying both, cheap and luxury local transport in India.
I am an English female traveller and I will be travelling from New Delhi to Jaipur in a lower train class, and from Jaipur to Jaisalmer in the upper class. This is the reality of traveling long distances on the train in India.
India's hospitality once again was amazing. I am an English girl and I was offered Masala Chai on the train and local Indian people share Indian food with me. I love learning about this culture. We can compare the local train classes, see the reality of trains in Delhi and Rajasthan, and tell you my first expression and experience.
