With the end of the Thargoid war, it would appear that the Thargoids are taking a back seat to the game narrative for a while. This presents an opportunity to analyze the best and worst parts of the combat experience to provide some additional feedback. My hope is that the thargoids return at some point in the future, but that their tactics and behavior evolve to reflect lessons learned from their defeat. There are also some dynamics of AX combat that need to be tweaked to make the pace and structure of combat feel more rewarding.
