In this video, I compare the colour E-Ink display of the Bigme B13 with the HANNspree Hybri, a transflective LCD monitor that uses ambient light and remains readable with its backlight at zero in a suitably bright room.

The B13 is sharper and technologically more impressive. The Hybri is less pure, more compromised in some respects—and considerably easier to live with.
I look at ghosting, refresh modes, resolution, colour, room lighting, USB-C connectivity and what I call the Anti-Faff Index: whether technology creates a sense of flow or repeatedly gets between you and the work.
The biggest recommendation I can give the Hybri is simple. I put it on my desk two months ago, and it stayed there.
