Walfas - Nitoris Handy Business
updated
The main idea is that I have the rotate/origin point below the stage. The amount it rotates is 9 degrees in either direction. The end product is a upper right position, upper left position, lower right position, then a lower left position, which creates an "8" pattern.

Dude, I got worms
I originally planned for Yuugi to be an important character for the next story arc, since in the original anime, her character gets more screen time. Okuu and Orin would join during that arc too, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. It was hard to actually plan things, since PurpleeyesWTF's CodeMENT series can be very hard to predict.

This video took me a very long time to get through. I spent about 7 weeks total on it. I wanted to spend the month of September on it, so it would be able to follow the walfas station wagon halloween collab announcement, but it took so much more time than I anticipated.
If you're interested how I animated the movements, I basically copied them from a video.
Here is an example with just the body and legs.
youtube.com/watch?v=SRT4YuN7f2Q
This section alone took 5 weeks, which was surprising, I did not animate the spins, and I had cut the song in half. I absolutely underestimated the complexity of this project, and often made me feel like I had no idea what I was doing.
Here is a second example, with the arms added in.
youtube.com/watch?v=bGiUTsNOEZA
This only took a week. The arms alone was definitely easier than trying to animate the legs and body at the same time.
It then took a whole week for the additional details, which is the completed video above. I was originally planning for more dynamic camera movements, but I was ready to be done with the project, so the camera panning is super simple. I also failed to add in background details, like a roof on the house, or pumpkin or spooky halloween decorations.

After so many years of working on "Bucket n Envy", it feels so weird having Kisume being a voice of reason. It's also weird having Remillia call her sister. Kisume plays the roll of "Nunally" because of her being stuck in a bucket. In the original Code Gegass anime, Nunally is a cripple person stuck in a wheelchair.

The Miko room from this video is complex, I don't think I remember how it works or how I built it to begin with. I don't even know if there are better or easier controls to get around, the way I do things or navigate in the video can be frustrating.
If anyone wants tips to starting on using 3D effects in after effects, don't. Just learn a 3D program, probably be a better use of time.

Remillia would used to yell at and berate Kisume constantly, tell her to leave and go home, but after a while, she came to enjoy screaming and yelling a pour innocent soul who couldn't do anything about it. Remillia would come to rely on that release of emotions from the stress of dealing with a house full of idiots. When her precious bucket went missing, Remillia went into a panic trying to find it.

I included a clip from episode 3 to show a bit more context. It also shows where in the series this video would go.
I felt the need to clarify a specific scene in the series. A ton of characters get yeeted in episode 3, Aya was actually one of them, but her death was implied and off screen, she's the only character in the whole series who doesn't obviously die when she does. During that section of episode 3, there's also a part where Remillia goes "Must. Learn. To. Read.", which makes it seem like she wasn't able to figure out how to ignite the match, which wasn't the case. If I was to redo episode 3, I'd try to find a different joke to put on that book cover.
In this series, when a character dies, they do not show up in the series again. Even the horai elixir characters are on a perma death system. The elixir prevents death by aging or disease, but if the body is destroyed or incinerated, they'll die for good.
This clip is basically a bit of clean up for the series. I won't redo episode 3 just to add this in, but this is still a part of episode 3.
Even after finishing episode 3, episode 3 refuses to die.

Larva gets really tense and stressed when she's expected to do something, but is actually reserved and chill when she's just sitting around vibing. That's my excuse for the voice change.
Larva has such a good character model, I wanted to use her again, but Hinamori Luna has very little spoken english, so I pulled lines from another hololive loli, Amane Kanata, who also barely speaks any english.
On the other hand, Coco has huge amounts of spoken english out there in the ether, so I got plenty for Kasen if I really wanted.

The original idea was going to be Mayrisa going to pick up a unique book for Marisa, and on her way out, she would trip and hit her head on the corner of the table and pichuuun, causing the book to be lost. Due to the book being unique, it would upset Marisa. The idea got really complicated when I tried adding in character motivations of why Marisa wanted the book so bad and why Mayrisa would go on her own, and why anyone would trust a fairy with a unique book, so all these factors kept making the idea too complex, so I decided to come up with another idea that also keeps the concept of items being destroyed when in the possession of a fairy.
Since my channel has an ongoing annual "Noriko day" on June 23rd, I wanted there to also be a "Mayyai Michu day" on July 11th. This video was supposed to be done on that day, but it wasn't, so here it is now.
The whole video actually only took me a weekend to finish, the hard part about working on this was actually starting it. I removed speech bubbles and sound effects to experiment what I could shave off the production process and still get away with it.
Sound effects in particular removed a huge amount of the production. Those require research to find the right sound, making sure everything that should have a sound has one, adding it in, timing the animation to the sound, stuff like that. Removing bubbles also really helped speed it up, since I don't have to chase them around or worry about placement, if their size is proper, and so on.
Hopefully it's still fine as it is, a big part of why I prefer to work on bucket series stuff is because it's so much easier than more normal videos. If I can reduce the amount of effort normal videos take, I could get them out more faster, so I'm trying to think of different techniques I could possibly use as well as removing sounds and bubbles.

Inspired by how pests seem to vanish if you take their eye off of them when trying to kill them.
The audio for this episode is rather old, it was going to be part of the original set, actually, back when the series had kisume and parsee in every episode. It's an idea I had, recorded for it, but didn't do anything with until now. A big part of that is when kisume and parsee got separated in episode 13. I didn't think I could do anything with this episode audio until the two of them were together again.
This video was also going to be the introduction of kisume's tendency to burn things she doesn't like, but that didn't really happen too much in the series. Episode 21 was the only other time kisume burned something for some purpose.
The idea of kisume and pyromancy comes from the touhoumon fan series. I played touhou fan games before I even knew what touhou was. The version I played was a modded pokemon fire red. It had all the pokemon replaced with touhou characters but was otherwise the same as the original game. In that fan mod, kisume was a fire/water type. For whatever reason, I found the idea of a random character stuck in a bucket to be rather funny, so I used that character for a good part of the game. I never did end up finishing the game, though. But the character stuck in my mind.
The touhou wiki lists her ability as being able to throw will-o-wisps, so Kisume being a pyromaniac fits her ability.

I first had the idea for this back in March, around the time I released the Pizza episode. Editing it together took a ton of time, since there was a ton of material to sift through.
The audio was pulled from various MaxMoeFoe content. I haven't kept tract of where I got the audio, but this episode has audio from three different channels in it, it's spread pretty much through out the guy's library.
The guy legit has hours of content where he talks about babies. There's still a ton of stuff left to make another Urumi baby episode, but I rather not, since the rest of it has stuff like baby eating jokes and such.

Kisume then ignores the pool of blood and tells Parsee about what had happened to her, but in the reverse order that it happened in.
I also want to note that in Parsee's perspective, she can't see the difference between Koishi and Kisume. Parsee didn't actually noticed that Kisume had respawned in, so to her, Kisume had just sprayed blood and guts everywhere for no reason.

Kagerou is collecting selfies for her instagram. She now has like 34 followers, and she thinks that's like totally rad, need to chase that clout fam.
Banki really knows her app placements really well, doesn't even need to look at the screen. Kagerou takes selfies so often that Banki can tell just by Kagerou getting close that's it's time to switch to the camera app and to take a photo. They've been doing this for a several years now, and Banki has got it all down by touch, she doesn't even need to bring her head along anymore.
I also want to note that the bucket 'n envy series is it's own separate world and continuity from any other series I do. Banki missing her head was originally a reference to the Futo and Miko series, but her head is missing in this series for a different reason now.

I'm really not sure what's happening to the main character anymore. The the past two episodes that had Kisume made her involved in some sort of being a toilet joke.
Just a side effect of letting guests do what they want, I suppose. Not knowing what the story will do or what will happen next is pretty much a reason why I run the guest stuff the way I do. I'll figure out Kisume's situation later.

The storyboard version of episode 4:
youtu.be/NtMaTXU9yD8
This video was copyright hit and was made unviewable in like 30 countries total. The video has been fixed by the youtube editor, so it should be fine to view now. It's neat to see how the project changed over these past five years.
Here's a few character stuffs:
-Tewi gets shot this episode, but doesn't die. I'm not sure where she got shot, actually. She returns in episode 5, which is also her last appearance. In episode 5, she ends up being a new playmate for Flanders, which is also probably the last time we see Flanders as well.
-Koakuma is the only character to do something useful this episode, which is the complete opposite of what usually happens. Remillia, Yukari, Koishi, all don't do very productive anything this episode. This might be the first and only time Koakuma actually does something of use in the entire series.
-Ran was always planned to be killed off this episode, episodes 3 and 4 have been planned at about the same time in like 2012 or 2013. I had the big events and ideas planned out, but not the details. In this series, details tend to be made up as the series goes on.
-Yukari switching out hats was never planned, it just sort of happened. It works well, since Yukari's hat needed to shrink for episode 5.
-In the storyboard version of the episode, you can see the SDM van being used. In the final version of episode 3, the van was smashed in, so I replaced it for episode 4. The SDM van is confirmed as totaled.
-Yugi, being one of the only few to survive the final battle of episode 3, does not show up again. I guess being pinned by a truck is the last we see of her, hard to do much else with that, since purpleyes confirmed that he's going to quit making videos. Purpleeyes stopping puts a stop on dude walfas as well.

But Koishi is nowhere to be found and has been missing for about a year, so Satori got really excited at the possibility of Koishi returning.
In case anyone was wondering about Koishi's continuity, she was under the giant pile of bodies that Orin picked up in corpse quest episode 58. After the body was disposed of, that allowed Koishi to respawn.
In this universe, when characters respawn, they go to the place they feel the most attachment to. This is normally the character's bedroom, where they spend so much of their time sleeping.
The reason why Okuu revives in the main hall is because she doesn't have a room. Satori tried to give Okuu a room, but Okuu kept on forgetting where it was, so Satori kinda just gave up trying to make Okuu go to bed. Okuu spends so much of her time exploded that she hardly even sleeps anyways.
When a character revives, they're set to a 'normal' condition. Not sleepy, not hungry, not injured, they don't feel good, but they also don't feel bad. Just neutral. Okuu revives so often that she doesn't get sleepy enough to go to bed, so she doesn't really have a bed to respawn too, so she just ends up in the main hall each time.

Trying to make this video work too some time. Ever since the "baby" episode, I've been trying to make Eika into Pink Guy, but it wasn't easy.
This might be the first and last Pink Guy video. PG just doesn't have enough talking lines, I think I may of used all of them in this one video. I wasn't able to find more PG than what's seen here.
There's a limit to what Filthy Frank audio I'll use, I won't use any music videos, lore videos, or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable using.
Watching something, and closely interacting with it in order to reedit it into something else are two entirely different things. I don't mind watching the "Rat Chef" video, but I'd have a problem using it for my own thing. I have to watch these things over and over and over again in order to break them down to around a single minute, and some videos are easier than others to do this with.
The reason why I won't use the lore stuff is because I don't want to drag in the Frank universe into this one, I want to keep all the chromosome stuff out, it has the potential to dismantle the bucket universe. Frank lore is so much more stronger than the bucket lore. The Frank lore videos are also pure cancer, and I don't want to handle that much unfiltered absurdity.
With all that said, the three things listed above eliminates more than half of the entire Frank archive, meaning that there's a hard limit to how many Narumi videos are possible. Unless there's someone out there willing to edit audio for me, Narumi might stop showing up in this series. There's not many more videos I could do with her.

It's also too much of a bother to renumber the episodes, so the continuity is probably gonna be weird. She also happens to have a big fear of dogs.

After the first few screens, I didn't feel like adding in the extra corpses that Orin would of picked up, so I only limited it to stuff that actually happened in the series. This video is more of an excuse to get rid of the giant corpse pile on Parsee's bridge.
This episode took much more work than any episode I can remember. Designing Orin's room alone was a pretty big task. The ending was supposed to have more rabbits than that, but it was ending up being too much, so I stopped after six.

The copy/paste nature of the character movements is painfully obvious in this episode, there's hardly any breathing spaces in the Frank rants, due to how they're edited, and there isn't much Narumi could be doing other than talking nonstop.
Sagumi returns from the ending of episode 50. I saw in a Touhou MMD before where Sagumi ends up blowing up the moon due to something she said, and I used the same idea to make Sagumi the reason why the moon blew up. It was hard to tell during the ending of 50, though, since she was mostly covered by the flame graphics.
