In this mission, a small town is under attack by Type 3 Drones. These enemies look like giant metal starfish as they float around. They'll spin and then contract and shoot laser beams at the EDF - they're not nearly as threatening as the Type 2 Drones in my opinion. They deal a lot of damage when you take a hit, but their fire is generally pretty easy to avoid. A powerful sniper rifle or homing weapons will serve you well.
