This turkey hunt takes place on public land in a bigger woods area of Wisconsin last spring. The bird populations aren't crazy, but they're good enough and the hunting pressure is spread around more than smaller parcels. With some prior knowledge of the area, I went in to scout and locate birds, finally getting one to give up his location and was able to capitalize the following morning.
