NMCAR Promotional Video - 2001 Daylight Pictures 2025-04-04 | An interesting find in the archives, a good quality rip of a promotional video from early 2001 by the NMCAR, basically displaying services and territorial mass, alongside demonstrating the museum fleet. Interestingly, GS-5 2006 (known by all as Blair) is not seen nor mentioned which means this video was published on the airwaves prior to his discovery (I have a personal hunch in believing this very promotional video is what got the gun to smoke in terms of the efforts to actually locate him).Some very cool things can be seen here, such as a pair of F3s that saw use on the NMCAR’s Abaco System long after many of their contemporaries retired in the mainland US, along with a U18B “Islander” or two. This song has become a rather popular one with me, so I thought I might as well make an MV on it.The song in question, Runaway, was created by Del Shannon, it does not belong to me. The clips were all filmed in Trainz Railroad Simulator 2019, and the models are from K&L Trainz and other creators such as JointedRail (though they primarily come from the Midwestern Branch DLC that’s included in my edition of 2019). The routes used are Midwestern Branch which can be purchased in the official DLC store on the standard edition of TRS19, Florida East Coast Railway which can be found on the DLS, and Byde Traction Model Railway which comes with T:ANE Platinum Edition and does transfer over to TRS19 if you own both games.With that being said, enjoy!
