Note the use of a more stripped-down variation of the piano-led jingle.
Cast your eyes also on this screengrab, taken at the logo transition: https://i.imgur.com/wxlI7oy.jpg. Might those be the LWT logo colours, hastily edited out? After all, if you need to change something quickly, the old "white flash" transition is a forgiving technique (see Perfect Day).

Someone at LWT obviously agreed with me, as a still of the formed-up logo could be seen as late as 2000 on ITV Nightscreen and on satellite feeds. The Genesis idents were used before networked programmes from 29th August 1986 until the discontinuation of frontcaps in December 1987.

On Monday mornings at the beginning of the broadcast day, a short interval was shown which consisted of a menu featuring a few of the coming evening's programmes, usually voiced over and always backed by a piece of library music such as this one. This practice survived into the "boxed logo" identity, although I'm not sure exactly when it was discontinued. It's a nice pseudo-closedown, to neatly delineate the TV day (and week).
It's come to my attention that there's a serial Channel 4 interval music reuploader out there. Why bother? Why not try bringing something new to the table?[YTPM] SmamS MouoM - AlA StatSJX8662017-01-06 | Mashup playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAuzI-_9CUEffiDq_Wxe75JP2emtfbeOhAndy Clark - Kickback (Original) (1982)JX8662017-01-06 | The version of this already on YouTube appears to be a remaster or has otherwise received some tweakage, so here's the original, less processed version.
