UNUSUAL START of 2025 in TYROL ❤️ [TRAVEL AROUND EUROPE] 2025

IrinaAbroad Vlog 2025-01-20 | Since the year began, I haven't posted a single thing—and here we are, already on January 20th! But that's only because we've kicked off this year in a truly special way.🌟

Instead of following our usual traditions, we took an adventurous route and spent December 31st with plenty of skiing. Here’s how it all unfolded:

🎄Normally, we spend the 31st in the kitchen, preparing festive meals and snacks. But this year, by 8:30 AM, we were already on the mountain in Tyrol, enjoying a full day of skiing. 🎿❄️

🎄Typically, we gather for a long family dinner, eating a lot and reflecting on the year gone by. This time, we came home around 6 PM, tired but very happy after a full day on the slopes. The festive dinner was much shorter than usual, and we didn’t prepare as much. 🍽️

🎄Instead of waiting for midnight, we called our family and friends to wish them a Happy New Year, and went to bed early. Why? Because we had to wake up at 6 AM the next day for another day of skiing! ⏰⛷️

It was a completely different way to celebrate, but that’s exactly what made it unforgettable! 💫

IrinaAbroad Vlog 2024-02-08 | There is only 1 day in a year when you must eat doughnuts, and it will save you from bad luck! Fat Thursday or Tłusty Czwartek!

Traditional Polish filled doughnuts are called Pączki, pronounced PONCH-key. They are commonly filled with berry jam, chocolate, or custard and topped with icing, powdered sugar, or almonds. The second most popular delicious treat on Fat Thursday is called Faworki, pronounced fa-VOR-key, also known as Angel Wings. Faworki are light, crisp pastries that are shaped like twisted ribbons and lightly fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar on top.

I want to do Fat Thursday right, so I am going to check the doughnut offers and prices at local bakeries and supermarkets.
On Fat Thursday, people in Poland consume about 100 million pączki each year, averaging roughly two and a half per person. There's a saying that if you don't eat a pączek on this day, mice will ruin your barn and fields. So, go ahead and enjoy guilt-free doughnuts!

24 hours friends with HORSES in VIENNA! TODDLER IS IMPRESSED
