(yes I know the voting ended yesterday shh, this is as fast as I work when I'm motivated)It's been a bit since my last Touhou style arrange, eh? I felt like I wanted to arrange a song from the newest game, Touhou 19 ~ Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost as soon as it came out, but when I listened to some of the tracks I was really confused.On one side, I wanted to redo some tracks in the newer instruments, but I felt guilty that it might not seem like the best decision, as it could feel like it wasn't what was intended for the game, and for that I must apologize.But on the other side, I wanted to listen to the new tracks as much as I could so I could absorb the knowledge ZUN had given with his new songs. I'm very much a fan of the new songs, and I once appreciate what ZUN will come up with for the next game!For this arrange, I decided to go for the UFO style as the song already has some feeling reminiscent of the track from that game that mentions Makai. So I just said why not, let's couple it with Journey and add them both in.If I recall correctly, this is the first theme in the game that uses the leitmotif the "Hero's Melody" after a looong time since leaving the province of Wynn. It sure fits well how it describes the player as this "Hero" in charge of cleansing and helping Orphion. I hope you will enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them!The sadness and the desperation this song shows at its opening is mind-blowing, and while it's still quite buggy (looking at you, crystalline decay room), it's quite the nice raid. For a continuation after the story of the Realm of Light questline concludes, it sure stands up to the difficulty the player is asked to do in order to save Orphion from the parasite.My first attempt at the raid back in 1.20.3 didn't go well let's just say... but what are you expecting from a (back then) morph user, hm? With time I did learn from my mistakes and my favorite build to use in it was Tierstack Apocalypse or tstack Singularity! I think the Grootslangs raid is pretty underrated for how low level it is, and while yeah, it's scary to go in at the level you're supposed to unlock it at, it's definitely my favorite raid out of the 3 currently available in the game.
