MEP part collection, volume 1 sabrelobo 2018-10-06 | here are all the live action parts i've ever completed, minus the ones i didn't actually do due to my laziness. i didn't put in the dan and phil parts because i'm out of that phase in my life, i don't edit to youtubers anymore. i did include the thomas sanders part for some reason? idk probably because i'm proud of it. he's a viner not a youtuber anyways hahathese are all mostly with the fosters bc it gives me feelings, or chronicle bc that movie is fucking amazing. also you'll see some of that 70s show and various other movies when i felt like editing them. nothing with the perks of being a wallflower, dead poets society or butterfly effect, but i will use those in MEPs eventuallyi'm really lazy, so if you want to know the name of a song, or of a movie that i used, or what MEP a certain part was for, just ask in the comments!

poison oak. sabrelobo 2018-08-28 | the sound of loneliness makes me happieroriginally i was going to have this just be a donnie darko video but it soon became apparent that just wasn't going to happen. donnie darko, to me, is a movie built on science and superstition rather than emotion, and i needed to fill in the gaps. i decided to add in two other movies that are important to me, dead poets society and kill your darlings. these movies are all different in ways, each bringing a mix of existentialism, education, sexuality, religion and science to the table.. i made the video very broad, focusing on many different relationships that i find touching and important in these movies - the bond between mr. keating and his students, donnie and gretchen (as well as frank and his parents), neil and todd, lucien and allen, as well as lucien and david (yes i regret having them in here but it's an important part of the story) basically i wanted to make a video that was bleeding with the emotion felt from these movies. in a sense this video became my baby, i've been working on it since may i believe? maybe later idk. anyways it's done, i'm not 100% happy with it, as always, a couple of the clips i chose still don't look right but for the most part this flows and i'm ready to release it to the world. maybe it will mean nothing to anybody else, and it will get no comments, i'm expecting that. but i made it for me, for catharsis and as a dedication to this beautiful song (thank you bright eyes) and these movies that have come to mean so much to me, especially dead poets society. perhaps they make a weird trio, but they came together beautifully for this purpose imo. i hope to edit to all these movies again and become more skilled at live action editing. i know people know me for animash but i'd like to move beyond just that.most of the voiceovers are audible but just in case anyone has trouble making this one out, the one at 3:57 is lucien saying "i never wanna end up on that wall"edit: this video has been up for four months and has 30 views so I'ma add some tags #fanvidfeed #donniedarko #killyourdarlings#deadpoetssociety #AMV
SEX | perks of being a wallflower sabrelobo 2018-06-28 | i'm not trying to stop you, lovebut if we're gonna do anything, we might as well just fuck---finally this is finished! i've been so hyped to get it done. a project hasn't gotten me so inspired in a long time, and it's probably because i got to edit with one of my favorite movies. this film is very dear to my heart and i've grown an even larger appreciation for it lately. a really great coming of age movie. this song might not be a perfect fit for it, but the general teen angst feeling is prevalent within it, so it works for me.i experimented a lot with flashes, fades, and clean cuts, along with coloring and text in this video. i also focused mostly on charlie and sam but also went a little in depth with charlie's other relationships, particularly with patrick and mary elizabeth. i avoided any family subjects in this video as it just didn't fit the song's subject matter, so this video focuses mainly on his social and romantic relationships.i hope you guys enjoy. i hope to edit with this movie again in the future.song : sex - the 1975movie : perks of being a wallflowerprogram : sv pro 14time taken : about 8-10 hours

(if you haven't seen it)--you're the leaky sink of sentimentyou're the failed attempts i never could forgetyou're all the metaphors i can't createto comprehend this curse that i call love--these two are just destined for heartache aren't they.in 2 weeks this show has completely taken control of my brain and my emotions. why didn't anyone warn meahh so about the video, i finished this rather quickly! i'm happy about that cause normally my attempts to edit to LA are futile. i know the voiceovers are a bit wonky and kind of drown out the music which i couldn't really help, i've never been good with them. but i put them at the instrumental part for that reason. hope it all comes together well. i just had to make a video of these two because season 1 wrecked me and i need to cope with this shitalso this is a song by a really great band, motion city soundtrack. they're one of my favorites and i wish i could edit to like all of their songs. for some reason i find they fit this show... though i've known this song for years, once i started watching the show i knew it fit brandon and callie somehow.hope you enjoy!--show: the fosterssong: in videotime taken: a couple hours--
