I'm only streaming this to show off.
a mod.
Sorry, I don't have PAL or JAPAN version.
Also, it was recorded in OpenGL HW, so maybe some missing effects.

Time can be saved by time warping by entering and leaving COOL mode under some circumstances. I enter and leave COOL in Stages 2, 3 and 7 to skip significant portions of the songs, specifically the intermissions.
Stage 3 is rather peculiar when it comes to time warps, since the length of the COOL and GOOD tracks are different. The time warps act pretty normal until Lesson 3/4. After Lesson 2, leaving COOL mode does not warp you into the future as much, and going into COOL on Lesson 4 does not warp backwards. Thanks to this mechanic on Lesson 4, ending in COOL mode is actually faster than ending in GOOD mode by two seconds.
Using the Shuriken or EASY mode will skip the bonus stages, which will happen after Stages 2, 4, and 6, saving 7 seconds each time. However, COOL mode cannot be achieved. Stage 2 is played on NORMAL since the time save from time warping is more significant, about 24 seconds.
The load time after the title screen, Stage 5, and Stage 7 are strange as well. Normally, only two scratch sequences are needed to load the world map, but the Title Screen and Stage 5 loads seem to randomly spend 2 or 3 scratch sequences. I actually mashed the face buttons and rotated the analog sticks, thinking it reduces the load time to two scratches, but I haven't verified its consistency. Stage 7 seems to always take three scratches, and I haven't determined where else load times are potentially longer.
This is an update from my previous speed run of 31:24, which can still be accessed: youtube.com/watch?v=aJ0xVbKm1d0
I'm not proud from speed running this game.
Decided to try making a sensible freestyle to this stage's COOL mode since you only get 6 sounds. To make things harder, this song has the 2nd fastest tempo in the game, so this took many tries of rapid button pressing until I got a result I was satisfied with.
Also did not use effectors, bends, or fever mode.

This gameshark code enables PTR2 style line mechanics in UJL, meaning you will be able to continue the line where it is left off in COOL mode. The reset/repeat buttons and everything works just like in PTR2. This is especially good for PaRappa freestyles, and even more riffs for Lammy.
... and it's lit.
NOTE: I used a cheat to keep the game in GOOD mode.
This stage has some nice freestyle riffs. After many attempts, I got a result I am satisfied with. I'll put the tabs if people want them.

After activating the codes, just select Stage 1 as Lammy, but the codes will force the game to PaRappa mode.
