Megaman 3 - Snake Man Remix

Thanks to Youtuber Gunascto for suggesting this song, which was a long time ago btw. Sorry I'm not that active, life got in the way I guess... But my goal is to at least release one video a month. Keep giving me suggestions, I've more or less covered all my favorites... but there's more out there, for sure! Cheers!

It's been a while, eh? To my defense, it's been a busy summer... but autumn is upon us and I shall try to make more covers! I had problems figuring out what to cover, I happened to stumble across this Megaman song, not really one of the classics, but damn, it's hella good anyway! Comment and subscribe good people, cheers!

TIME TO FIGHT! I mean, there are a lot of good final fantasy battle themes but this one in particular feels really menacing to me, really feels like a boss theme rather than a regular battle theme. Hope you guys like my take on it, comment and subscribe!

It's been a while, eh? Thanks for the excellent suggestion, MacDaddyLoveTrain, I really enjoyed learning this song. So upbeat! I have some slight memories of playing this game at a friends house when I was little, didn't remember the music being so catchy. GO GO POWER RANGERS! Hope you enjoy my take! (:

Once again a remix in the style of my recent version of Phendrana Drifts. At first I was about to go super ambient and spacey, but everything felt right with more organic stuff. Sitars and samples of a Japanese boys choir worked well somehow. Hope you guys like it, comment subscribe! Listen in headphones!
My Swedish Youtube-buddy Dennis wanted to collaborate on something so we decided that the battle theme from Golden Sun could be really cool! One of my favorite handheld games of all time and with a killer battle theme, the cover had to happen.
Anyway, make sure to check out Dennis' new channel. Djent-inspired metal for those interested!:

Listen in headphones (downloaded 320Kbit/sec sounds also better)!
It was snowing today and I was inspired to try a remix of one of my favorite Metroid tracks. Such a chill and beautiful composition, I tried to keep the organic feel intact from the original, even enhance with some slightly unorthodox drum patterns. Hope you like, comment and subscribe!

Just wanted to do a little public service and provide another clip for those out there researching for potential hardware for the home studio! I've owned this for a while but not really explored all the potential, and I have to say that it really shines as a pure riff machine for aggressive metal of all sorts. It works for leads as well, but that is much more dependent on post production and how you handle effects such as delay, reverb and how you EQ, which makes getting a sweet lead tone a little bit more tricky. For riffing, it basically sounds fantastic right out of the box, especially with the impulses I've linked to, that is at least my discovery.
So yes, I recommend this for anyone who wants to start recording with a little bit more punch. It's quite affordable and to my knowledge one of the best introductions to analogue home recording; hence it's a good upgrade for those used to digital stuff such as PODs, Guitar Rig and such. Not to bash the digital stuff out there, it's improving quite rapidly, but I've never managed to dial in anything this "fat" with amp simulation software.
Oh, and the drums are Addictive Drums with Metal ADpak. Cheers!
Once again, MEGAMAN X! Pretty underrated in my opinion, Sting Chameleon has great energy and was very suitable for a guitar cover. Hope you guys like. Comment and subscribe!

Got an acoustic guitar with line-in-capabilities as a Christmas gift so I decided I need to upload something with said guitar. Now, I'm terrible at classical finger style picking since I very rarely even try it, but to hell with it, time to practice some acoustic! I went for a very reverb heavy guitar with some string quartets backing it up; I think it turned out pretty nice! Anyways, comment and subscribe!

100th video! Why not celebrate with probably my favourite Megaman-track, next to Dr. Wily stage 1. I've waited far too long actually do a guitar cover of this (did a shitty remix a long time ago)... and it worked out pretty well, I think! I mean, the playing isn't perfect but it works for me, I've never claimed to be the world best guitarist anyway. The mix has a lot more presence than I usually have in my mixes, figured it might sound better on iPods and such... since most of my mixes have way to much low mids going in small earphones. Anyways, hope you all like it! Comment and subscribe! AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I was suggested doing a cover of this by freeofdymes like a month ago. So I did, and it turned out pretty heavy! The drums are pretty nicely arranged if I may say so myself. Anyways, hope you all like this one, comment and subscribe! Oh, and Merry Christmas!

I might never have heard this brilliant piece of VGM if it wasn't for Catguy19, so thanks for the tip. I find the bass guitar especially nice in the original, and if I actually played slap bass, I would've totally rocked that track single. Since I don't, some guitars will have to do. Most fun was creating the drum track, I think it came out pretty nice. Anyways, hope ya'll enjoy. Comment and subscribe! CHEERIO!

Mostly, I just feel like I should start writing more music, as my Youtube-channel suggests I actually do. But anyways, we'll see how this portfolio goes from here, cheers!
Oh, and this piece was very much inspired by creepy crawling alien stuff, such as "The Thing" or "Zerg" from "Starcraft 2". Hope you like it!
Another revisit from a previous remix. Tried to metalize this song, worked OKAY I guess, but it shines better with cute synths and such, IMO. Mixing was a bitch, haha. Anyways, I tried! Hope you guys like it, comment and subscribe (:

Man does DKC 2 really succeed well with the whole melancholic thing. There's of course Stickerbrush Symphony (which I've remixed twice), Hot-Head Bop (which I've covered with guitar) and last but not least there is Mining Melancholy. This was a fun project and I hope you guys like it, comment and subscribe! (:

Akira Yamaoka's melancholic masterpiece from one of the best horror games of all time! I know it's very similar to the original but I just couldn't find a reason to change anything, instrumentation and arrangement is just so awesome in the original. Would've been nice with an actual acoustic guitar but I don't own a condenser microphone =( Anyways hope you guys like it, make sure to comment and subscribe!

I made a dance remix way back but I decided that this song deserves a chill guitar based version, turned pretty OK! Using a pair of new headphones and I haven't really got used to them so the mix isn't as good as it should be, but I will improve, I just need to get used to working with them.
