Remember, under ORS-166.250 a minor with the consent of his or her parents or legal guardian can bear firearms, other than a handgun in the state of Oregon. A minor can bear his firearm loaded, as long as the minor is not in a city or county that has banned the possession of a loaded firearm, which is under ORS-166.173.
