Clean & Polish Louis Vuitton Hardware with Flitz Paste Polish Ash XL Reviews 2022-09-16 | Clean and Polish Louis Vuitton Gold-color Hardware with Flitz Paste. Louis Vuitton Alma BB has gold-color hardware. All the hardware has patina and showed some signs of tarnishing. I also purchased this bag preowned from Fashionphile, the shoulder straps did not come with my purchase, so they are not featured in this video.I did previously clean the hardware with Brasso, again I did not share this on YouTube. After a few days the hardware oxidized again, so I have stopped using Brasso. Since then I have done some more research and found Flitz a paste polish that will clean and polish just about anything you can think of. Again I don't know what the specific metals are used by Louis Vuitton but I think Flitz Polish is safe to use on the hardware. Products that contain any wax is often not recommend for use on vachetta leather, as it may darken the leather. Because of it's thick and waxy texture I think it is great to use on leather that has significant damage and needs help. It can heal scratched, rough leather and make it feel smooth again. Apply with a small sponge and let the product dry overnight. Your leather will have a darker patina but it will feel soft and very smooth within a few days! Removing WATER MARKS on Louis Vuitton Alma BB Natural Cowhide Leather Ash XL Reviews 2022-07-11 | Removing Water marks on Louis Vuitton Alma BB with Monogram Canvas and Natural Cowhide Leather. This is a preowned handbag made in 2014 and purchased from Fashionphile. Today I'm sharing my experience of removing water marks from Natural Cowhide Leather also referred to as Vachetta Leather. During my trial I first tried Chamberlains Straight Cleaner. I do not recommend this product as it does not remove water marks or stains at all. I then used Lexol All Leather Cleaner to deep clean all of the leather and this seem to fix the issues with the Straight Cleaner, it also minimzed the water marks and removed dirt on the leather. Again NOTHING is really going to remove watermarks from this untreated leather. It's really best to prevent water marks by immediately wiping them off with a towel or applying some water repellent. PLEASE don't forget to apply leather conditioner after you use any product on your leather. To begin the process for extending the normal chain length, I contacted Van Cleef and Arpels. Because I do not live near any Van Cleef and Arpels store, I also requested that I mail them to their repair center. I was then emailed with directions and a shipping label to send my necklace to the closest VCA boutique. I shipped only the necklace, I did not put the necklace in the jewelry box or travel pouch. I was then told it could take 2-3 weeks for the adjustment to the chain but it honestly only took 1 week. The item was shipped back in a new large pouch and display case. I was not charged to extend the length of the chain or for any of the shipping. This service was free, since it was within 2 months of my purchase. Overall I was able to extend the length of the chain from 16.5 inches to 18.5 inches for no charge! Ray Ban Warranty DIY Lens Repair | RB3574N Blaze Round Sunglasses Ash XL Reviews 2022-01-11 | Quick live DIY repair on Ray Ban Blaze Round Lens. The original lens has a crack across the screw. It was sent to Ray Ban under warranty repair. Ray Ban did not repair the lens. They also stripped the screw. I requested for a new lens and screws, which was eventually sent to me. Please watch my warranty video for my full Ray Ban warranty process for these Blaze Round Polarized Lens. Ray Ban Warranty. The repair was pretty simple, just remove the screws with a small flat head screw driver. Replace lens and screws with new replacement parts. Please also be advised that each screw is different, only replacement if necessary or else reuse it. Repair of sunglasses took less than 5 minutes. Their limited warranty usually includes 24 months repairs or replacement on defects manufacturer or workmanship. I purchased my sunglasses from Ray Ban in 2019. I had issues with the lens cracking near the 3PC Kit Screw. I submited a claim for the limited warranty in July 2021. The warranty repair took about 2 months. I also ended up getting replacment parts sent to me, when their repair was unsuccessful.Ray Ban warranty is through Luxottica. Replacement parts are through Ray Ban After Sales portal, which again goes through Luxottica. If your product is not in warranty, their After Sales website has parts which you can purchase.
