Nolan’s Song Kata Hay 2024-12-10 | My friend Nolan recently passed away suddenly at 41. We were on the voice together. We never hung out a lot but we had this karmic connection where we would feel eachother. He had called me 6 days before he passed, wanted us to start playing in duos. I’d been extra depressed cause I can’t play atm, and he ended up giving me a huge Nolan talk about the darkness we both battle and needing to stop alcohol cause it enhances it. Took me a couple days and I decided to go cold turkey. The day I did is the day Nolan died. So I went into my texts and found some of his best words of wisdom to me, and somehow had this ONE voicemail from a few months back. He sent them all the time. Sat down and put it all to music and recorded a phone memo as I did it. This is that. Please if I sent this to you, remember mental health awareness is so important. So many seemingly perfect and beautiful people are struggling so hard everyday with different kinds of demons. Be kind. Call your friends.
