Here’s an 8 minute walk through the old forge belonging to Duggan’s of ‘The Leap’ here in Wexford. I was shown this back in June by the owner Liz Ryan who worked in it as a young one alongside her grandfather and uncle.
It was like stepping back in time as there were 11 generations of blacksmiths working from this crossroads. When Liz worked here there they fixed harrows, gates and pots while in 1798, they made pikes. All I had with me was my phone so excuse the audio. Amazing spot and thanks Liz for the tour.
