PseychieMy newest fascination for the last month has got to be one of the most unique gacha games I've seen. Morimens is what I'd describe as "Slay the Spire but gacha game". Despite sounding generic, it has absolutely engrossed me in every aspect. In this long gacha review, let me tell you why Morimens is so special.
Morimens | The Greatest Gacha Game Youve Never Played (Long Review)Pseychie2025-06-28 | My newest fascination for the last month has got to be one of the most unique gacha games I've seen. #gacha #gachareview #morimensDestiny: Rising | When the Gacha Game Surpasses the Original (First Impressions Review)Pseychie2025-09-05 | Destiny: Rising is a free to play gacha game set in the Destiny universe. After my jaws dropped open at the fact of this game even existing, I wanted to try it out and see if it's actually any good. Developed by Netease and (likely) has a lot riding on its shoulders given the current state of Destiny 2, let's see what it's all about.
v1.0I Revisited Tower of Fantasy in 2025...Pseychie2025-08-26 | Yes, I got a new mic.
Tower of Fantasy is the gacha community's biggest punching bag. Ever since it was advertised as the "Genshin Killer", it just never really peaked in its popularity ever since. However, today in 2025, let's see if there's still some magic.
Arknights is likely the most requested gacha game for me to try out. After hearing some good things about it, such as no RNG relics, no weapon banner, and a high ceiling for skill expression, I thought the 5.5 anniversary was as good of a time to try it than ever. So today, let me tell you about my brief experience with Arknights.

The mecha genre has never really recovered from its decline past the 2010s. In a world where most gacha games market waifus and husbandos, what about one where you wield the deadly powers of these mehanic machines? Mecharashi is one of the few recent gacha releases that caught my eye. After trying it out for about 2 weeks, here are my first impressions on it.

(Review Retrospective)Pseychie2025-08-04 | Fate/Grand Order remains the gacha game with the longest cumulative number of logins for me to this day. While it has held a special place in my gacha career, I've become less receptive towards it as I've moved on to other games. Today, I will be doing a retrospective on my own review 1 year ago, and see which parts I still agree or disagree with.

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium has been one of the more successful gacha games in recent memory. Now that we're half a year into the game, and having played the first GFL, what are my opinions regarding the game now?

The almost "corporate" feel of the game, the constant flash-sales in your face, the vertical nature of the progression just didn't vibe with me very much. The main reason I started playing at all is to see if all the marketing push back during the game's launch was worth the hype, and I thought maybe there would be more in store for me after playing for a month.
I also edited this video up until 12am on the day of release, as sort of a response to people undoubtedly complaining about the surge of sponsored content on the channel recently. Guess this is my temporary way to compensate that. This video was on the backburner, but I managed to get it done over the weekend. Still trying to form a response video to the whole Etheria: Restart situation, but I'm just kinda tired right now, though I don't expect many people to read this. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

I typically don't play gacha games for more than a month at a time, but every once in a while, I'll see one that really resonates with me. I've been playing Punishing: Gray Raven quite a lot this year, and it was the combination of the high-intensity combat, generous rewards, and overall variety and freedom in events and builds that kept me coming back. While I don't think any game is perfect, PGR to this day remains the best action gacha game I've played.

v1.0Yoko Taros Saddening Decline into Mobile Gacha GamesPseychie2024-12-04 | Yoko Taro, and by extension 2B from Nier Automata, is one of the most iconic duos in all of gaming. Wizardry Variants Daphne is one of the strangest and intriguing gacha games I've played this year. Marketed as a "hardcore" gacha game, you will delve in to the decrepit Abyss with your party of adventurers in first person turn-based gameplay. I want to showcase the creepiness and atmospheric design of this dark fantasy dungeon crawler, being as close to a "horror" gacha game as I've seen so far. CounterSide is supposed to be the successor to the PVP-centric gacha game Epic Seven. Years later, let's examine what it does and does not do well. Being also an entry for an gacha focused on PVP, you can imagine I have some things to say about it.
So this review is not gonna be the most in-depth, since midway through my playthrough, I sort of just lost interest playing. While I tried to cover the main stuff, there are some other end-game modes that I didn't cover, like Shadow Palace or Dives. I know it's there, I just didn't talk about it.
It's been half a year since I last covered Snowbreak. Since then, the game has been transformed into a cultural phenomenon within the gacha community. Let's go over what has changed since then, and re-evaluate this gacha 3D shooter game.
Solo Leveling: Arise has been one of the more popular IP-based gacha games that has released this year. Of course, that also gives me enough reason to recommend against playing it. So in this first impressions gacha review, I'm gonna go over the reasons why I ultimately do not recommend playing this game.
Punishing: Gray Raven is Kuro Games' flagship product before Wuthering Waves. Today, we will take a look at a so-called "Honkai3 clone", and see what this 2019 3D action brawler gacha game has in store.
In case you’re wondering where the rating and the expectations ratings for each section, I’ve decided to remove them going forward in my reviews.
The reasoning for the overall score being taken out is due to most of the games I review having a 7 or 8 anyways; it felt extremely arbitrary and only served to be bait for the thumbnail. The second reason is that some viewers would immediately form an opinion on the video just based on the thumbnail. I want people to watch the entire thing before commenting on their thoughts, not to mention that it leads to come comparisons that don’t feel warranted.
I also took out the expectations rating for each section. As I reviewed my old video, I felt I would try to form a bias towards what to rate each section, and try to justify it without giving it too much thought. I want to explore all sides of the coin before coming to a conclusion, and having the expectation ratings felt like I was forced to have an opinion about something and skew my points towards it. If I feel something is done good or poorly, I will still say it in these videos.
The FOMO section has been merged with the event section. This is due to elements of FOMO being closely related to events and time-limited activities. If there’s something very noteworthy on FOMO, I will still mention it.
