Strong careers aren’t built by chasing whatever’s hot. They’re built by choosing environments ready for both your work and you. Job searching today feels pretty one-sided. You show up with résumés, portfolios, and proof—while companies bring hidden expectations and the occasional straight answer. This class will help you gain more balance in your search.
Instructor Josh Silverman will share a practical approach to treating the job search as a two-way match, not an audition. You’ll get clear on what makes you feel valued, ask questions that reveal team health and leadership dynamics, and spot misalignment before it’s too late.
We'll cover how to:
• Define what the right “fit” looks like for you
• Leverage your network to create warmer intros and more direct conversations
• Ask questions that expose culture, expectations, and team dynamics
• Spot red flags early in the hiring process
• Choose work environments with intention and confidence
Less settling. More mutual interest. Better long-term outcomes. This session is designed for AIGA members ready to choose well.
Taught by: Josh Silverman, Founder + CEO, PeopleWork Partners
