Find a partner and choose from 3 “fruit chutes”—the Pineapple Plunger, Coconut Crusher or Banana Blaster—or “go bananas” and crush it solo!
Defy gravity as you and your raft are propelled by powerful jets through uphill climbs and surprise after surprise. Catch some air as you thrill to sudden dips and snake around hairpin turns through darkened and open sections. Then take the plunge as your raft skims its way across Hideaway Bay.
Whichever one you choose, you’re in for an aquatic adventure as you careen, twist and turn your way past rocky outcrops and lush greenery, through grottoes and end with a waterfall splash.
Big kids, teens and adults can experience 3 times the thrills and spills as they careen 600 feet down the mountain on the following paths:
The center slide: head out on a darkened, fully enclosed trip to the bottom with just pinpricks of light peeking through.
The 2 outer slides: hop into an inner tube before traveling over, around and under the snaking coils of the center slide.
No matter their unique differences, all 3 high-speed slides come to a similar conclusion—a splash!
Navigate a shadowy, neon-lit space station and make your way to a bustling Control Tower, passing a constellation of glowing astronaut training stations along the way. Inside a futuristic launch pad, board a sleek rocket-shaped vehicle and prepare yourself for a high-flying adventure into deep space.
When all systems are “Go,” glide through an energy tunnel pulsating with blinking lights and ascend a 180-foot high mountain. At the top, launch into the remote blackness of the dark universe, the mysterious sounds of space and galactic music filling the void.
With help from a NASA astronaut, Space Mountain opened in January 1975 at Magic Kingdom park. The idea originated with Walt Disney in the 1960s, but the technology did not exist to bring his vision to life.
Later, when the attraction was given the green light, Mercury 9 and Gemini 5 astronaut Gordon Cooper joined the Space Mountain creative team as a consultant. He wanted to make sure that the attraction incorporated information gleaned during NASA’s early space missions and that the experience felt like actual space flight. His valuable input has made Space Mountain a favorite for over 35 years.
Today, Space Mountain exists at every Disney Resort around the world!
Enter the pristine Hall of Presidents in the heart of Liberty Square—modeled after Independence Hall in Philadelphia—and make your way beneath an awe-inspiring grand rotunda. Peruse an authentic artifact collection nearby featuring such treasures as George Washington’s dental instruments and Abraham Lincoln’s leather portfolio.
During the presentation, revel in America’s enduring origins, the formation of our Constitution and the hard-fought struggles along the way—such as the American Revolution and the Civil War. Listen to the stirring words of John F. Kennedy echo throughout the theater and watch Abraham Lincoln—in attendance on stage—deliver his Gettysburg address.
Envisioned by Walt Disney, The Hall of Presidents proved too ambitious for the technology of the time.
Conceived as animated wax figures, the Presidents didn’t quite look and act as Walt Disney had originally envisioned. So Walt decided to work with his Imagineers to develop the first Audio-Animatronics figure in human form. The result was the startling realistic, classic attraction Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which debuted to rave reviews at the 1964 New York World’s Fair.
In 1971, with the technology tested and perfected, Abraham Lincoln—in addition to every other President at the time—appeared onstage in The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom park. Since then, every U.S. President, including the addition of Barack Obama, has been added to the roll call.
Gather your party of explorers and journey deep into the Amazon, where you’ll dine in the company of animated animals to the sounds of thunder claps and sudden rainstorms. Singing birds, trumpeting elephants, chest-pounding gorillas and schools of brightly colored fish welcome you to the jungle, lushly landscaped with tropical vegetation, banyan trees, waterfalls and a starry nighttime sky.
Feel far away yet at home all at once with American-style eats the whole family will love. Then swing by the Rainforest Cafe shop, where you can pick up plush animals, themed apparel and tropical trinkets to commemorate your Amazon adventure.

We couldn’t be more excited about the future of how our guests will be able to view and be inspired by these majestic animals.
The new orca encounter will take our orca shows in a different direction. Everything will reflect the natural world and will focus on the research, education, care and respect that aligns with our mission to advance the well-being and conservation of these beautiful creatures.
No longer a theatrical show, this live presentation will have the feel of an engaging documentary centered on the orca’s natural behaviors, physical attributes, intelligence, social structures and unique relationship with mankind.
Our existing show pools and viewing areas will be redesigned into a more naturalistic setting and we will continue to present the whales at scheduled times before a guest audience. This change will start in our San Diego park next year, followed by San Antonio and then Orlando in 2019.
We are excited to inspire current and future generations of people to take action to help protect animals and wild places. These encounters are in line with our efforts to reimagining how guests experience our parks, turning them inside out so that people can see our animal rescue efforts firsthand and learn more about the plight of animals in the wild - all while preserving the fun and amazing atmosphere our guests have come to love and expect at SeaWorld.

Tilikum is a 33 year old bull orca who was captured near Iceland in 1983. He weighs 12,500 lbs. and is almost 23 feet long.
In 2010, Tilikum was involved in the death of Dawn Brancheau, a 40 year old trainer who was working with him during a "Dine with Shamu" show at SeaWorld Orlando. This was the third time that Tilikum had been involved in a death during his captivity.
In 2013, he became the focus of a documentary on captive killer whales called Blackfish.
Tilikum still performs occasionally during SeaWorld's One Ocean show and actually did so during our visit to the park.
Orcas, otherwise known as killer whales, are actually the largest members of the dolphin family and live in tight knit social groups, called pods, in the wild.
Known as the wolves of the sea, killer whale pods will hunt prey ranging from seabirds to squid all the way up to blue whales.
Think hide and go seek! Killer whales' striking black and white coloration helps them hide by blending in with the filtered sunlight of the sea.
In the deep dark ocean, killer whales use sound to find food and navigate. Through echolocation, they send out sound through the water, which bounces off objects and returns in the form of an echo.
Killer whales are the largest type of dolphin and are among the fastest swimmers in the ocean; they can reach speeds of up to 28 mph. Beyond their impressive physical features, killer whales are successful because they work together to pursue prey, protect the pod and raise their young.
.
The ocean is home to killer whales, but we're all connected to the sea. Like us, killer whales are dependent on a healthy ocean
Moccasins, also known as Cottonmouths or Water Moccasins, are fairly common in this part of the US along with the Southern Copperhead. Contrary to popular belief, they are not normally aggressive and certainly don't chase you. They are venomous however and a bite should be taken seriously.

The food itself far exceeds the fare normally enjoyed by mere mortals... let alone theme park visitors! Enjoy such dishes as pork, beef and salmon dishes, risotto of the day, Pad Thai, cheeseburgers and sandwiches. Mouth-watering desserts and a full wine list are available. There is also a separate children’s menu.

Take aim with your space cannon and fire an invisible infrared laser at a constellation of “Z” insignias. Following an introductory mission briefing with Buzz Lightyear, board an XP-37 star cruiser, take hold of the onboard cannon and begin your space crusade into the Gamma Quadrant.
Amid illuminated otherworldly realms, accompany Buzz Lightyear into battle and come face-to-face with Zurg and his rampaging squadron of revolting robots. Quickly identify your interplanetary “Z” targets by using an onboard joystick to spin your cruiser a full 360 degrees, and blast the targets to collect points by firing lasers from your cannon.
Do you have what it takes to stop Zurg and his army before it’s too late? The fate of the universe is in your hands.
With each “Z” insignia you hit, you're rewarded with beeping sounds, flashing lights and points. The more targets you blast, the more points you’ll receive. As expected, harder-to-hit targets are worth more points.
During the space battle, points are automatically tallied and can easily be seen on the electronic dashboard in your space cruiser. Compete with friends for the highest score or try to achieve a new personal best!
At the end of your mission, you’ll receive a Star Command ranking, based on the points you accumulated during the mission. The lowest rank is the humble "Space Cadet," but advanced players can challenge themselves to reach the highest classification, "Galactic Hero."
