For the first time in 14 months, the USS KIDD (DD-661) floats! Until the river is high enough to return to Baton Rouge, she will remain pierside at the Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors shipyard. This milestone is the perfect way to celebrate this Veterans' Day. Thank you to all who served for our nation.
