Just as a little experiment, Driver (or Driver: You Are the Wheelman for those in North America) intro remastered in 1080p using Machine Learning. Achieved with Gigapixel AI by Topaz Labs.
Result isn't as good as I hoped, maybe somebody out there could do better but considering the source video is limited to 320x176, full of film grain and blur, I find it highly unlikely it can be improved upon a whole lot.
As such, the result even stands impressive in some places, might make out some details otherwise missed. At the very least, Tanner's boxy head and incredibly droopy nose will surely be the source of some nightmares to souls unfortunate enough to bear witness.
Attempting 4K wasn't even worth it.
