Hey all, welcome to my video for the dream series discussing a Gestalt theory of becoming the dream. Due to the video length and focus I just wanted to add a few notes here, that are missed from my discussion but relevant. I'm only discussing the theory, not Gestalt as a whole and this means I haven't included discussion of this. Briefly,โ as eloquently explained by my Grandad, Gestalt is a homeostatic model which means that humans are always attempting to re-balance or complete themselves/some situation or event. Completion is a big deal in gestalt and learning to tolerate frustration is a necessary part of that process.
I avoid jargon throughout as it not necessary and simply meant to be another dream explorative option you can try out. I don't consider myself an expert, nor am I teaching this so you can try it on someone else. Due to being poorly this month, it's a little rougher than I'd have liked but I hope you enjoy my offering and some are able to take something away from this.
