It's been a while since my last video - taking a much needed break.
Next weekend, I'll be showing how to draw character from A wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame before a peformance of the play by This is my Theatre in the beutiful surroundings of Newland Churchyard in the Forest of Dean. Do come along www.https://www.thisismytheatre.com/newland
The characters were originally created by the incomparable E H Shepard. The characters are so well known and loved it's impossible to stray from Shepard's style and format.
He will have used a dip pen and was pretty free in his style. If you think you recognise the style, he was also the original illustrator of Winnie the Pooh.
Next time, I'll show you how to draw Ratty and Mole.
