Dr Nico Müller (University of Basel, Switzerland) presented 'Herbie’s Law: Between the Three Rs and a Ban on Animal Experimentation' at our Centre's European Animal Rights Law Conference 2025.
Dr Nico Müller is a PI within the Swiss National Research Project 79 Advancing 3R, where he investigates phase-out strategies for animal experimentation. His work on the topic has been published in journals such as Ethical Theory & Moral Practice, Science and Engineering Ethics, and Cambridge Quarterly of Healthcare Ethics. His other work focuses on animal rights and animal ethics, including his book Kantianism for Animals: A Radicall Kantian Animal Ethic (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).
