One of this year’s recipients, Dr. Meng Hee Tan (BSc’65, MD’69), is an accomplished physician-scientist and a dedicated advocate for people living with diabetes. For more than 50 years, he has played a vital role in advancing diabetes care and public health by developing standardized clinical guidelines, supporting patient education and sharing knowledge through research, teaching and publications.
