As bag makers, we can make our own version at home for $120. Follow along with this tutorial to make a slouchy, Louis Vuitton inspired bag. I made mine less slouchy than original designer bag, but you can certainly make yours slouchier by adjusting the size/placement of your stabilizer. The finished bag includes 2 interior slip pockets, an interior zipper pocket, and a key fob. Easy hack inspired by Patricia Nash — a tote bag with cinched sides #bagmaking #tutorial Simply Classic • Chris Murphy 2025-03-24 | How to make a cinched bag with drawstring sides, inspired by the Patricia Nash Everton Tote. I love this hack because it completely changes the shape of a bag — and it’s surprisingly simple!First, you will need to:- Construct your main body- Punch holes and install grommets (not shown here) near the top of your bag- Create and add your drawstringNow, this is where the demo begins:1. Cut a piece of vinyl/leather that’s 2.25” x 4” (adjust the length based on your drawstrings)2. Fold it in thirds lengthwise3. Stitch down both sides4. Fold it in thirds crosswise5.
