DOOBIE TIME folks!!! Todays' featured original song from the DoobJoob YoobToob archives is Sad Sally Sat and is another video from our recent live performance at the Hallowoosh 12 event at On The Point Brewing in Mars, Pennsylvania a month or so ago (October 30th, 2021). Many thanks to our good friends Dizzy Woosh (of which 2 members are also members of Doobie Jubilee) for allowing us to share the stage with them for Hallowoosh 12. I have a couple more of our originals to share in coming weeks, hope you stop back and check 'em out.
The song, Sad Sally Sat, is a Doobie Jubilee original that started as a LiveJamz riff that turned into a tune after Johnny Lager added some words to it. It is one of the earliest DoobJoob Tunes at this point and I love how it has developed like our other tunes. We have about 15 original tunes at this point but have been focusing on firming up 7 or 8 of those at this point and this is one of them.
