If your dowel drill steel isn’t rotating, don’t panic. It might just be your U-bolt. On Minnich dowel drills, the U-bolt holds the drill to the carrier, but if it’s cranked down too tight, it can stop the steel from turning altogether. Keep it snug, not crushing tight.
