In this video, I break down exactly how I converted a $360 OYLUS mini split into a fully solar-powered heat pump using a portable power station and bifacial solar panels — plug and play, no complicated wiring. I compare the total cost against the EG4 12K Hybrid Mini Split and show you how to get MORE functionality for LESS money, including battery backup that the EG4 doesn't even offer.
