One of my all time favorite childhood classics of it's era. There's not much about DKC2 that needs to be said. It's regarded by many as a classic of it's time, and in my opinion; it still proudly stands tall even to this day. It has some flaws; but the rest of the game is so solid that they don't impact it that much.
K. Rool's Keep features a lot of levels that kept me from clearing this game when I was younger. Notably, Windy Well, Chain Link Chamber, and especially... Toxic Tower. Nowadays, I find that they are ultimately not as bad as I remember, but they can still be pretty rough.
This playthrough was done on emulation for convenience sake.
