In 2015, I bought my house, a truck, an atv, maxed out credit cards, and was building my homestead. I realized, I had gotten myself pretty far in-debt. I had a job, I had a little bit of extra money each month, but I decided I wasn't going to keep going like this .... then it hit me, become 100% debt free. I can do that .... I just need a detailed plan and stick to it (welp, there is the first problem .... I'm really good at making detailed plans and NOT sticking to them). So I never mentioned this all these years because honestly I figured I would fail ... and if you didn't know I failed, you couldn't call me a failure lol. I've been living a frugal self sufficient lifestyle for 10 years now because I wanted to get completely out of debt as quickly as possible. I also had to battle cancer during this time, but i finally reached my goal of becoming 100% debt free.
