NEW TURBO HAYABUSA HP RECORD! Boosted Cycle Performance 2020-02-06 | After setting the factory stock gen 2 Hayabusa record a few months back with this bike, I decided to give her the beans. I’ll take the blame for the head gasket as I hit 20psi of boost earlier in the day unexpectedly. I’m sure the overall poor health of the engine from the previous owner didn’t help the situation either.
Turbo Hayabusa WORLD RECORD! Most HP ever made on factory stock engine! Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-10-26 | This is the most hp ever made on a FACTORY STOCK, UNOPENED 16k mile Gen 2 Hayabusa engine. Meaning stock compression, valves, valve springs and all. Using modern tuning theory, and VP X98 fuel, we were successfully able to do what internet said couldn’t be done because of weak valve springs and high compression. I strongly advise against anyone trying this as it is indeed on the brink of pushing the head gasket, and approaching the limits of the stock rods. “Lucy” is the Boosted Cycle Performance R&D bike, fitted with our stage two turbo system that’s completely made in house. This bike is also fitted with a full exhaust. Notice you can’t hear any turbo noises. Unless you’re putting busses on other bikes on the highway, most think it’s just a Busa with an exhaust and swing arm.
Record setting turbo hayabusa dyno run? Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-10-03 | Completely stock, unopened engine makes some impressive power on VP X98 fuel and 9.5psi of Boost. As usual switching over to E98 gained 20hp on wastegate. But in the spirit of testing what the internet tells you about gen 2 hayabusa engines, I decided to let it eat and turned the boost up. As far as I know, this is the most HP ever made on a factory stock gen 2 hayabusa engine.

Stage 1.5 turbo hayabusa with ecu boost control Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-09-03 | This bike has a stock motor other then a base spacer to lower the compression. It’s also using boost by gear controlled by the stock ecu.
VP X98 fueled stage 1 turbo Hayabusa Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-09-03 | Another stage 1 RCC Hayabusa making some great power on some E98 fuel. This kit usually makes 230-235hp on 93 pump fuel.
RCC Stage 1 dyno tune and 2 step’n Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-08-12 | I’ve done this set up countless times, but I always enjoy the simplicity of a Gen 2 Hayabusa with a bolt on stage 1 kit. 100 degrees in the shop, with 80% Texas humidity is why the weather correction factor is so high. The 2 step is though the factory ecu. While typically it’s hard to build much (if any) boost on a 2 step as all’s they are, are lower rev limiters. But, with pulling timing and dumping in fuel I was able to get this to make 4.5psi.
BCP Stage 1, larger turbo, 20hp gains. Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-07-16 | Just when I thought I had things finalized I decided to try one more option for the turbo kit. The results seem almost unrealistic, but due to the chain failing I had to cut the test session short.
BPC prototype Stage 1 turbo kit dyno results! Boosted Cycle Performance 2019-05-04 | A very stout 256.9HP 140.7TQ on just 4.6 psi of boost through a full exhaust. This was on 93 octane, on a very abused 15k mile, UNTOUCHED stock engine.

Sinister Sand Rail dyno tune Boosted Cycle Performance 2018-04-12 | This hayabusa powered sand rail arrived unable to run due to the tune being so far off and sitting for a long time. It also just had a stock motorcycle header that was cut off at the collector. So we fabbed a custom 3” stainless exhaust.It’s also worth noting this rail weighs about 1800lbs, and has an external reverse gear box aside from turning big tires.
