Michael Wertenberg | Disturbing Books From Around the World - The Blind Owl, my review @Michael_Wertenberg | Uploaded January 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
On a quest to read the most disturbing books ever written, I checked out the novella, The Blind Owl, by Iranian writer Sadegh Hedayat. At first, I didn't care much for it. I found it angry and hateful, ugly and misogynistic. But when I delved deeper into the work I was able to see that there was more to it than that. #booktube #books #reading #literature
