This week in VR & AR news: Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are proving to be a massive success, with 2 million units sold and production ramping up significantly. Meanwhile, Quest's V74 update brings exciting new features including DisplayPort Altmode & Web Shortcuts. The February Quest Store sale offers big discounts on games like Among Us VR and LEGO Bricktales. Meta has also redefined "Mixed Reality" to now include both MR and VR.
Looking ahead, Meta Connect 2025 has been officially announced, and Horizon Worlds’ desktop editor is now in early access.
