The DS-2 was almost called "Red Zone", with a red metallic finish to contrast the black with red text of the MZ-2 Digital Metalizer that was released at the same time. Due to geopolitics at the time, we thought it best not to go there, and since the sound of Turbo mode I is very close to a DS-1, with mode II being fatter and more distorted - DS-2 makes a lot of sense.
