Can you turn a Lenovo Tiny PC into a proper gaming or creator machine by adding a desktop graphics card?

In theory, the full-length PCIe slot makes this a remarkably capable little computer. In practice, installing an RTX 3050 meant bent brackets, an accidentally detached Wi-Fi antenna, a replacement Lenovo power supply and some deeply questionable precision engineering.
Once it was running, the graphics card produced a perfectly respectable benchmark result. Unfortunately, the standard metal cover gives it almost no ventilation. Temperatures quickly approached 99°C, performance collapsed and gaming became effectively impossible.
The idea clearly has potential—but making it work properly will require a much better cooling solution.
