Say hello to 3D again with the grandfather of first person shooters, Wolfenstien 3D!!! Sure, it's ray casting rather than a detailed polygon world, but hey, being able to look around and explore this primative 3D world is a huge step up from the 2D games we've been playing thus far.
In each episode of Diana Games Through Time we will play one PC game from each year in chronological order starting from 1978. We will watch as black and white text on a screen turns into millions of colours in a 3d expansive living and breathing universe. Look forward to a new episode every friday in this 42 episode series!
