So it turns out that the cutscene were Mergo's Wet Nurse first makes her appearance went through a ton of revisions, and some of the earliest ones show so much more detail. All of this was of course content cut from the game before release so I was excited to be able to share it with you.

So I found the often alluded to "final secret" in NieR Automata, a cheat code that can only be entered while standing in one particular place, at one specific moment in the game, which unlocks Chapter Select, Debug Mode, the Debug Room, and the Trophy Shop, as well as a few other items. Saving the player from having to do 3 playthroughs of the game to unlock these. So I made a patch for Bloodborne that modifies the game engine in such a way that the game can run at speeds up to 60fps, and with a PlayStation 4 Pro with Boost Mode enabled, the game actually reaches that speed quite reliably! I'd been planning to reverse engineer all of the Doll's rare events in Bloodborne for ages because, even though I always suspected they were purely random, so many people had theories as to what caused or increased chances of them happening that I just had to do it. I was pretty confused for about three days straight about the lullaby, as me and everyone I showed the code to all agreed it was cut content, it wasn't until I rolled back to 1.0 that it made sense. Well after trying to over a year, I've finally made some half decent progress hacking P.T. and I'm excited to show just the first few little discoveries and new details I was able to get a look at. So the Vileblood Queen at Castle Cainhurst wasn't always a tsundere lady named Annalise, but once had a totally different demeanour and shared more than just her bloodline with the Doll and Maria. This but of cut content gives us some weird, interesting context for the once much-more-explicit relationship between all these characters. I hope you find it interesting!
So I restored a cut item back into the game, which allows Wolf to go face-to-face with any character in Sekiro that's suffering from Dragonrot and cure them individually, which triggers unused dialogues in each case. Pretty cool! I didn't do *every* NPC though, just to avoid spoilers. Just enough to show it off. I might re-visit this far away in the future and we'll cover every single character, but for now, I hope you found it interesting!
So it turns out Father Gascoigne had some cut content that was 99% complete, all the files required are left unused on the Bloodborne disc and a simple file edit causes them to trigger again. I love this result because his voice is so cool haha. I hope you enjoy it too!

Just a nice little loop of the alpha version of the False God Hymn. In the final game soundtrack, this song was renamed to "Hail the Nightmare" and was dramatically different, recorded with a full orchestra and fully sung in Latin. In this alpha version, we hear a synthetic voice singing what seems to be complete gibberish.

Well, this took me a LOT of work, but it's finally done. Maria exactly as she appeared in the game prior to being cut.
