The 2003 NASCAR Silly season was an interesting one. A scenario forgotten was the one with Matt Kenseth and DeWalt. This was a contract year for the tool provider at Roush Racing. As the 2002 season was taking off for Matt Kenseth, Jack Roush, and Robbie Reiser you had Dale Earnhardt Incorporated trying to sign Steve Park and Michael Waltrip. Silly season was into hyperdrive as Dale Earnhardt Jr's organization was rumored to take the sponsor of his former rookie foe in the NASCAR Cup Series.
