Probably my best attempt at all the Urizen forms. Performance against Vergil was pretty sloppy but in the end, I got the job done.
Keep in mind you don't get your health back after Stages 98 and 99 so avoid damage as much as you can!
Overall strats:
Change your controls to these to allow yourself to use and charge moves with both Griffon and Shadow at the same time while doing other stuff:
L1: GRIFFON
R1: LOCK-ON
X: JUMP
SQUARE: SHADOW
CICRLE: CANE / NIGHTMARE
TRIANGLE: NOTHING (You can put Shadow on Triangle if you really want to be able to command him while riding on top of Nightmare but it doesn't happen often...)
D-PAD: DEVIL TRIGGER
L2: AUTO-ATTACK
R2: READ BOOK
Don't hesitate to summon Nightmare when:
A - Both other familiars are stalemated or when your best familiar for the situation (usually Shadow) is stalemated and you really need him
B - When an undodgeable attack is coming (for example Vergil's Judgement Cut End and you are badly positioned to get out of it) You gain i-frames when you trigger DT and it shortly makes you invulnerable to Urizen's attack that knock you away.
When you see Shadow is about to get hit by a powerful attack (Vergil's Helm Breaker or Final Urizen's punches and kicks), preform a dodge to the side. It will instantly cancel whatever attack Shadow is doing and will teleport him to you and out of harm's way
Same thing with Griffon. If you see he's gonna take big damage, do a double jump to cancel whatever he's doing and get him instantly to you.
Watch what is going on and dodge whatever is coming your way.
Read your book when you have nothing else to do and you need the Devil Trigger energy.
If you can afford it, revive your familiars without summoning Nightmare by getting close to them. This will save you some DT energy.
Stage 98 (Urizen (sitting)):
WATCH THE LASERS! Way too often I find myself distracted looking at my familiars while failing to notice the sweeping lasers are going to hit me.
Send Shadow over there and have him spam Skewer (Lock-On +) Back to Forward + Shadow Button) on the boss. Skewer deals a lot of damage so I use it a lot.
While Shadow is attacking with melee attacks, keep the Griffon button pressed to charge Blockade 3 (The vertical pillars of lightning) and periodically unleash this attack on the boss.
Summon Nightmare when you can't revive your familiars quickly and you'll be done with this fight in no time.
Stage 99 (Urizen (standing with tentacles)):
Get close to him behind his back if you can. Watch out for when he does his tentacle attack where he spins around though.
Spam Shadow's Skewer or whatever melee attack you prefer with him. Remember to do a sideways dodge with Shadow to get him out of harm's way if necessary.
Watch out for the boss's long range blue tentacle attack. It always goes after V and it's difficult to dodge. He will always do two of them near the start of the fight. To dodge it, run toward it and jump toward it just before it hit you. After that, look out because it's going to come back behind you again. Jump again toward it in the same fashion to dodge it.
When you see Urizen charge his big tentacle attack where he slams into the ground sending his tentacles overhead, just run to this left and jump as the attack lands. If you do it correctly he'll never hit you with this and you can rack up the damage while he recovers
Summon Nightmare if needed but for this particular fight, I like to summon Nightmare shortly after breaking Urizen's crystal. After Nightmare appeared, jump on top of him to ride him (Promotion) and perform Illegal Move + Domination (Lock-On + Back to Forward HOLD CIRCLE). This is Nightmare's laser attack. If timed correctly, it should take a good chunk off Urizen's life bar and maybe kill him before he can regenerate his stupid crystal.
Stage 100 (Final Urizen):
Not too much of an issue until the end... Try to always keep some DT to have Nightmare save your ass when the boss is near death.
Again, use Skewer to pile on the damage and try to dodge with Shadow to avoid him getting punched. This battle is easier to follow since there is less mayhem going on so you can focus on dodging with Shadow.
WATCH OUT FOR THE LASERS IN THE FINAL PHASE! When you see him creating them, run all the way toward where he is, that way you won't have to deal with those stupid lasers.
Stage 101:
Dodging with Shadow is important here because Vergil can stalemate him almost instantly.
Sneak in Shadow+Griffon combos when Vergil is recovering from an attack.
Summon Nightmare when Vergil is in DT, when Shadow is stalemated and you really need him or to get out of a bad situation.
DT is important here because activating it makes your familiars invincible. So read that book whenever Vergil is busy doing something else. (Fighting your familiars or doing his attack where he's flying around)

![Making Of Shampoo Happy Surprise [Animation]
I saved my animation project at various points during its making. Here are these milestones one after the other. So much work for only a 5 seconds scene.
Animation by me

You can watch me work on this in the following streams:

Coloring:

There are 20 drawings of Shampoo in this animation, with various other extra elements like her eyes and mouth on separate cels in certain poses.
This is an animation of Shampoo being happily surprised to see her airen coming in to see her. Ive been wanting to make such an animation for a while. Here I really took my time with it, trying to make it as smooth as I can and I also spent some time to color the lines. It took me an entire evening just to color the lines but it was worth it in the end. It makes the whole thing less flat.
I spent a lot of time on this one. I hope you like it.
Many thanks to Waka for once again helping me with her voice.

WHATS SO FUNNY, ZERO!?
So glad Im finally done with this one.

This stage is the worst. At least for me so far. Thanks to Demulant for the encouragement and the tips. Thanks to x master x master for tips for the Zero Nightmare glitch.

6-1 is not a problem once you know 3 things:
First, fire a charged shot as the Gravity Well is wearing off in order for the plasma trail to destroy any incoming fireballs from Heatnix.
Second, that when Heatnix summons the magma, you need to be on the ground. That way hell summon the magma in the lower half of the screen and it will make your life way easier. Thanks to Demulant for that one. I cant believe I didnt know that.
Third, when Heatnix goes berserk and goes off screen to do the God Bird attack, fire a Gravity Well just before the screen stops shaking. If you time if right, the Gravity Well will freeze him before he hits you and youll have plenty of time to get out of the way.
6-2 is a problem.
I use the tornado weapon to get rid of Dinorex. First, buster, then when he starts sticking to the wall, I start charging the weapon and firing it at just he right moment. Remember that you have to press the d-pad away from the wall to fire the tornado in that direction.
Wolfang is the wild card in this fight. Quite litterally. In the first half of the fight, hes not so bad. Learn to stay on the wall when hes going to jump at you or fire Ice Bursts at you. Only slide down the wall to hit Dinorex when you see an opening in Wolfangs pattern. When Wolfang sticks to a wall, drop down and lure him to dash to the ground.
In the second half (When Wolfang is almost dead), pray that he will do the Ice Fragment or Ice Burst attack for you to deal some easy damage.
If he dashes on the ground, youre in trouble. Jump off the wall and hover. Look for an opening to land, then fire at him and destroy his ice spikes too. Hope he wont dash around multiple times.
WATCH OUT! When his spikes or ice bursts explode, the shrapnel deals damage!
If he dashes on the ceiling, first a single normal tornado if you have some left to destroy an ice spike above you. He always dashes on the ceiling after 3 Ice Fragment attacks.
You have to learn this one. You have to feel it. You have to be in the zone. It is quite difficult.
6-3 Oooooo boy... In this fight, I use a glitch. It seems if you hit Zero fast while hes doing a (Shot-Shot-Saber Wave) combo and then head for the upper right wall, after that, Zero will reappear, do a triple combo (Shot-Shot-Saber Wave) and then after the wave, if he vanishes without moving, that means hes going to appear in the lower right corner and remain stuck there if you stay on the wall. Now this glitch is random. He doesnt always do it. Sometimes he wont vanish after his second combo. Hell do other stuff. If he does, the glitch wont happen (At least not right away)
With the glitch triggered, stay up there, fire the Frost Tower when Sigma starts to dash around. or when he is on the left side of the room. The idea is to avoid damaging Sigma as much as possible. You dont want Sigma to start his near-death pattern while Zero is there!
When Zero says Owari da!, that means hell pound the ground and energy shots will come up at you. When you hear this, jump off the wall and hover to dodge the shots. Dont go back tot he wall too fast or you will get hit.
When Zero is down the only problem is Sigmas double blue wave of death. The most consistent way Ive found to dodge it is to stay on the ground close to the wall and do a full forward jump. Press jump just after youve heard the sound effect of the double wave being fired.
Fighting Zero Nightmare normally is incredibly difficult with Sigma around. You have to manipulate Zero to appear on the right side for you to head to the wall behind him before he attacks. Once you manage to do that, you can hover off the wall to lure Zero to dash towards it and then hit him with the Saber. But with Sigma around, I find it incredibly hard to process all this stuff quickly enough. especially with such high damage being dealt to you.
You can also go behind Zero on the left side (not the right side) to hit him while he shoots the tall waves of energy. Again, thanks to Demulant for this strat. Sigma must not be in the way though...
As Demulant told me: Never give up!

Again, Ive beaten this challenge twice. This time due to forgetting to record the first time.
The worst part of this is dealing with Vile in 3-3. He fires a hard-to-dodge spread of shots that paralyze you and he can also grab you which can lead to disastrous and frustrating consequences. Practice, practice, practice!
Here is a couple of tips for 3-3 that I didnt mention.
- When using the Ray Splasher, try to make one salvo hit Vile as well as High Max. Saves ammo and deals damage to Vile too.
- If you are going to switch sides with Vile, dash under Vile right as he starts a jump to get under his fire easily. Learn to time this.
- Remember Viles fires goes after you when it lands. Use the Hover ability if you have to.
- Vile will sometimes randomly dash towards and grab you. He usually does it after paralyzing you but he might do it completely out of nowhere.
- Its okay to get grabbed by Vile sometimes. For example, if one of High Maxs energy orbs is coming your way and there wont be a way to dodge it, it better to get grabbed by Vile, since this does less damage than taking the orb in your face.
- I know it wont happen all the time, but try to lure Vile to be on the same side as High Max, far away from you. This is the best situation possible. This is when you can both stun High Max and hit both of them with the Ray Splasher.
- After creating his shield, High Max will either drop down to ground level and proceed to fly towards the other side of the room sweeping the whole room with his gigantic hit box; fire out an energy orb; or start charging to send his shied at you. Learn how to deal with these attacks. The energy orb stops your charged shots so try to shoot him before the orb comes out or after dodging it. Watch out when he sends his shield after you, both parts of the shield will come out horizontally. And they hurt a lot. Stunning+hurting him quickly after that will prevent the shield from attacking you.
Hard Mode bosses deal more damage (especially collision damage) and they take less damage as well. You have to practice and learn how the bosses work. A lot.
