This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2027 Volvo EX60 electric SUV.
We are driving the 2027 Volvo EX60 with the P10 powertrain. It has a 95-kWh battery with 514 km/319 miles of range, 503 horsepower and 524 lb-ft of torque. 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. 0-60 MPH in 4.4 seconds. Standard AWD. The EX60 is made in Sweden.
In the US, the 2027 Volvo EX60 P6 RWD model will also be offered. It has up to 385 miles of range, 369 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful P12 with 670 horsepower will be offered at a later time with 640 km/398 miles of range.
The 2027 Volvo EX60 Cross Country will come to market in 2027 as a 2028 model.
This 2027 Volvo EX60 midsize SUV is built on the SPA3 platform designed as a dedicated BEV and uses the 800-volt architecture and comes standard with active suspension. Volvo is using the most advanced technology in the EX60 from software, megacasting for the first time, cell-to-body and next generation e-motors.
The 2027 Volvo EX60 builds on the XC60, Volvo’s best seller. Same everyday versatility but with more efficiency, elegance, and refinement. Compared to the XC60, this EV is almost 4” longer and the wheelbase is longer by 4.1” giving you more interior space, including cargo space. It has a 15” touchscreen and an 11.4” digital driver display. Volvo introduces lag-free conversational AI with Google Gemini built-in.
This 2027 Volvo EX60 comes standard with a 19.2 kW onboard charger. At a DC Fast Charger with speeds up to 400 kW, you can charge 10-80% in 18 minutes. With the 400 kW fast charger you can add up to 270 km/168 miles of range in just ten minutes.
In Canada, the 2027 Volvo EX60 P10 Plus starts at $77,500 and Ultra $84,000. Pricing for the US hasn’t been announced yet.
