spicy hot take incoming - I wasn't really a big fan of this song when I first heard it. I thought I'd remix this song to get a better appreciation of it, and what do you know...I liked it like five percent better than I did before. yeah, I honestly don't get the hype behind this song. it's not a bad song by any means, I just didn't find it particularly great or amazing like everyone else did. like i'm happy that everyone loves it so much, i just can't help but feel kinda depressed that I can't feel the same way.
this remix probably sounds kinda dookie considering i don't get the appeal of this song, but i thought I'd try to see if could make something cool with my...uh, "style". i tried to get that plucky pop sound for the main melody like in the original song and used some instruments to get some 2007-esque synth vibes for the later sections. i sprinkled in some other techno instruments as well for good measure. basically just mimicking the original somewhat, but not too closely.
