Read Me - Recorded on January 25th, 1984 @ Koseinenkin Hall in Osaka, Japan.
Good sounding show taken from the tail end of the pyromania tour. BOTH got it's first live exposure on this tour, but it was a little different to how the studio version was recorded.
Instead of Joe singing 'bringin' on the heartbreak' he sings 'bringin' on the heartache'. It's a minor gripe, but to me I do not enjoy hearing this version live. Just my opinion! But it's followed by Switch 625, which cleans it all up nicely. They're rocking it out, even with Joe on guitar as he did it quite often on this tour.
It's interesting as for the most part these were the last few times we would hear Steve play Switch 625 live, but it was also performed for a few of the 1986 rehearsal shows leading up to the Monsters of Rock shows in '86. Heartbreak was played electric going straight into Switch 625 as they do now. It's also interesting to note that if you've read the Animal Instincts book you'll know the band re recorded Switch 625 in the studio during the recording of Hysteria. I would be very curious as to how that sounds..
