Death Jr. is a 2005 action hack and slash video game developed by Backbone Entertainment and published by Konami. The story follows Death Jr., the son of the Grim Reaper, who embarks on a school field trip to a museum. Things quickly go wrong when he unleashes an ancient evil spirit named Moloch. Armed with a variety of weapons and agile platforming skills, you must help Death Jr. rescue his friends and defeat the dark forces he has set free.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ - I really enjoy the Tim Burtonesque atmosphere, quirky characters, and overall dark, yet playful theme of Death Jr.. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the gameplay. The camera is downright atrocious at times, especially when enemies knock you around the map. Some platforming segments feel clunky and imprecise, which can get frustrating. Overall, it’s a game with great style and charm, but not the most polished experience if you ask me.
