How to test an 16 amp industrial socket outlet for continuity of CPC, polarity and insulation resistance. The circuit is wired in SY flex (Sy cable) and support on cable tray. The test is carried out using a Megger MFT tester.
I understand that final circuit should not be wired in SY flex but it is currently a requirement of both the City and Guilds and EAL awarding bodies to have this type of circuit.
