I show how prominent young earth creationists like Steve Austin and Brian Thomas interpret this evidence quite differently, highlighting an important inconsistency in young earth geology models. The core challenge centers on explaining how over 15,000 feet of finely layered sediments, containing hundreds of seismites separated by undisturbed layers, could have formed in just a few thousand years after a global flood.
