In this episode I have to drastically alter my plan to produce an Art Deco replica of a model DC3 aircraft.
The copper plating technique I was counting on to prepare my Zamak castings for nickel plating just wasn't going to work.
So, plan B was put into action which required all new castings in both brass and aluminium. Even that threw up more challenges. However it was a case of pushing through and now the project seems to be back on track.
